With a strong traditional acoustic influence at their beginning, the band recently turned to a modern fusion between fest-noz, jazz, or even contemporary techno music. The band was originally composed by Jil Léhart (who left the band to work on his manufacture of stringed instruments), Patrig Ar Balc'h who plays either the tin whistle or the bombard, Yann-Herri Ar Gwicher whose transverse flute brings a wonderful soft melodic touch to their high-rythm dances. Last but not least is Riwall Ar Menn, a true legend in Brittany. Riwall really feets with this band (the band name, Strobinell, means magician) as he's a very talented magician. He also is a wizard with guitar chords and that's what specially matters here.
