Yvon RIOU

The Man

Although he had his first musical approach with the bombard, Yvon turned early towards celtic guitar and became the founder of 'Maogan'.
Deeply influenced by Soïg Siberil, he developed his own particular style of open-tuning fingerpicking. Yvon performs occasionaly with Pennoù Skoulm, Skolvan, but he mostly plays with Jean-Michel Veillon (with whom he recorded a great album: 'Pont Gwenn ha pont stang'.
He also appears on the 'Kerden' album, dedicated to guitar.
