The Man and his music
Myrdhin became an itinerant breton wire strung harper at the age of 21. He is considered to be one of the most eminent traditionnel performers in the Breton tradition and one of the actor of the Celtic Harp revival in Brittany during the 70's. He has a wide panel of musical styles : from the storytelling with his 'La Vie de Merlin' to the Afro Celt Sound System unique fusion (nominated to the Grammy awards 2000), from his wonderful 'Harp & Bamboo' album in duo with Pol Huellou to his 'Duo Ars Celtica' albums where he performs beside his wife also playing the harp, Zil.
His album with the Duo Ars Celtica band, truely is a symphony for 2 celtic harp. Together with Myrdhin and Zil are Jean-Michel Veillon, Anne Auffret, Jean Baron, Dominig Bouchaud, N'Faly Kouayate and Mona Jaouen. His latest album, Run is a new era for his music : always new, always magical...
