Christian LEMAÎTRE
The Man
Playing for festoù-noz throughout Brittany helped Christian Lemaître hone his remarkable skills as a fiddler. His mastery of intricate Breton traditional dance music such as plinn, gavotte, fisel, ... has made him the most sought-after fiddlers for dances in Brittany for a few years now. Among the outstanding Breton groups Christian has toured and recorded with are Pennoù Skoulm, Storvan and Kornog.
Beside his wonderful solo album which is unfortunately sold out, he also recorded two albums with the « Celtic Fiddle Festival » in which he shares his versatility with masters Johnny Cunningham (ex-Silly Wizard - from Scotland) and the irish-american Kevin Burke.
